If you have a new textbook or OER that is to be used, read our recommendations for [marketing open textbook projects](https://press.rebus.community/the-rebus-guide-to-publishing-open-textbooks/chapter/marketing-communications-overview/). There are also useful details and perspectives in the [release overview of the Rebus Guide](https://press.rebus.community/the-rebus-guide-to-publishing-open-textbooks/chapter/release-overview/), which helps you set your resource up for success before you start actively promoting it in your community.

#### To announce your open textbook or OER here, post in [New Releases](https://forum.rebus.community/c/open-textbooks-in-development/new-releases) and be sure to include:

- a link to the book
- a short description
- how it can be used (e.g., specific courses, recommended audiences, other contexts)

And if you have had success in promoting OER, share your suggestions below with the larger community!
