Illustrate through multiple media
Some aspects of floodplain management can be difficult to communicate. Images or interactive graphics can often make certain concepts (e.g., elevation of a structure or the base flood elevation) easier to understand.
āSupport multiple ways to perceive informationā is especially important to me since so many of us learn in different ways, presenting material in different ways: written, visual, audio, etc. and sometimes those resources are not always inclusive. My group has already discussed some of these details, but we plan on having descriptions with each image/chart/video, etc., maybe we can also make sure there are audio recordings as well.
