What is the Rebus Community?

  • administrators

The Rebus Community is made up of faculty, students, and staff from schools, colleges, and universities around the world, along with regular people who believe that educational materials for every subject should be a free and open public resource.

Do you have an Open Textbook you’d like to publish? Could you help by copy editing or proofreading someone else’s book? Is your institution launching an Open Textbook publishing program? Would you help find Creative Commons images for a chapter of a book? Would you review a section of a book in progress? If so, we’d like to hear from you.

Some members of the Rebus Community contribute just five or ten minutes. Others spend countless hours helping to create Open Educational content for the world. Every little bit helps.

To find and contribute to a project, or to start your own, head to Rebus Projects.

If you want to see the Community’s collection of published open textbooks, visit the Rebus Press.

If you’d like to connect with others in the Community, head over to the Meet & Greet section of the Rebus Forum.
