Becky Dubois earned a B.S. in Dietetics at the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1998 and a M.S. in Human Resources with a Concentration in Hospitality Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1999. She began teaching in January 2000 in the Dietetics and Hospitality Management programs at UL Lafayette and is currently a Master Instructor in the Hospitality Management program in the B. I. Moody III College of Business. Ms. Dubois earned her Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Lodging Association and is a certified ServSafe Instructor through the National Restaurant Association. Responsibilities include teaching Hospitality Management Courses: Introduction to Food Safety and Preparation, Introduction to Lodging, Introduction to Hospitality, Introduction to Foodservice Management, Beverage Management, Revenue Management & Cost Control in Hospitality, Current Issues in Hospitality, Front Office Management, Applied Foodservice Management (Lunch Club), Hospitality Management Practicum and Internship, Facilities Management; Ms. Dubois is the advisor to student organization, Ragin Hospitality Association; Study Abroad Site Director in Florence, Italy in 2022 and 2023; She is involved in the Acadiana Community, serving on the board of the Acadiana Chapter of the Louisiana Restaurant Association.
