Hello, I am head of public services at the only HBCU system in the country, Southern University and A&M College. I have worked in several capacities in higher education for the last 25 years including the University’s Board of Supervisors Office and the Office of Academic Affairs. I found my happy place in the library. I work with Cade Library’s outreach efforts including producing a quarterly e-newsletter and managing the library’s social media sites. I am also a full-time student on my way to earning a Ph.D. in public policy. I also have liaison duties with several academic departments providing information literacy instruction as well as reference and research assistance to faculty and students.
