Description:
Mathematics courses often are described by students as boring and not applicable. Our project is to create resources for student activities/experiences that are interesting and have clear connection to the real world. The activities/experiences will invite students to notice and wonder about the world. The goal is to publish the resources for the activities to be use in the classroom or the online environment. There is potential for the activities to build from one course to the next in a pathway of courses, as a threaded sequence of activities that increase in complexity from one course to the next. The resources will be in LaTeX format and published using Pressbooks.
Short Description:
