Introduction to Philosophy: Philosophy of Mind

I am thrilled to announce that the first volume in the Introduction to Philosophy open textbook series has now been published!

Introduction to Philosophy: Philosophy of Mind is designed for Introduction to Philosophy courses that include topics in the philosophy of mind, such as free will, functionalism, substance dualism, materialism, and more. It is edited by Heather Salazar and features eight chapters written by different authors that introduce students to many of the fundamental topics in the philosophy of mind. It can be used alone or in conjunction with primary source readings, particularly by the philosophers discussed in each chapter.

If you want to see more about the Introduction to Philosophy open textbook series (series editor: Christina Hendricks), please see the project’s pages on the Rebus Community site.
