We found that in this version of moodle, if you click play on the video, then click on the video title, it opens in a new window with close captioning.
So, for every each set of video lessons in the Finite moodle course, we added the statement “To view videos with closed captions, click the “play” button, then click the title of the video. This will open the video in a new window, where closed captions can be enabled.” at the top of each video lesson page. We also titled each video.
