The OER for Teacher Education Project is a resource hub for teacher educators & schools of education to enhance their courses through OER. The purpose of the hub is to:
Encourage authorship across CUNY institutions and PK-12 schools.
Make sure that we represent the population we serve in the materials we use – diversify through a critical lens the materials students have to watch and learn from
Enhance clinical practice
Use OER to promote social justice and equity for our students
Through faculty anecdotals, the resource hub provides instructor insight on their OER courses and narration of the process. Faculty have also shared key features of what stands out for them and why they are committed to OER.
