Today, you and I had the chance to meet 1:1 in your project teams for @may24a-cohort. In the discussions with your team or team representatives we talked about:
- Your Project Scoping, Storytelling, and Roles and Responsibility Team drafts. The Project Scoping and Storytelling handouts are two of your deliverables for this first phase. Please continue to edit these drafts as you flesh out your plans.
- Your ability to communicate as a team. In this cohort, Rebus opted not to automatically create forums for each team, since some teams have chosen other means of communication in the past. If your team would like to work through ideas on the forum, please feel free to add a topic.
- Your progress on your textbook and course. Our cohort has some amazing projects underway. I am very excited to see these books take shape. What is so interesting is how different some of the disciplines are, and yet, I believe that we can learn a great deal from each other as we continue meeting as a full group.
As we prepare to embark on the content creation, you can make sure you are set up to by checking off the following items on the list below:
- All team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities
- You have set up collaborative space for team communication and content creation
- A meeting time with your team members has been set up
- You have advanced your project scoping and you documented the completed steps in your Project Summary
- You created a Project Forum or Google Doc Folder or Basecamp and updated your scoping progress/ and calls for external collaborators
Next session, we’ll reconvene as a cohort and talk about Accessibility and Inclusive Design! We do have next Monday, July 1st off, so I will see you on the 8th.
