Hi @oct22-a-cohort,

You should have all received a zoom link to our monthly meetings. We will alternate between cohort meetings and 1:1 for the next 9 months.

We are meeting on the first Monday of the month from 10-11am. Our first meeting is February 3, 2023 from 10-11am. I’ve reached out to Robin Miller and she plans to show us Manifold during the meeting. I’m going to touch base with Andy McKinney from CUNY Central to see if he can make it to show Pressbooks.

Finding a common time was a challenge, even for just once a month. Please reach out if this time doesn’t work for you and we will try to work something out to meet individually or in a small group if it’s more than one person.

Robin Miller from Manifold asked me to send the message below along to get set up if you want to try out Manifold during the session. If Andy sends any Pressbooks directions, I’ll send those along as well.

Please sign up for a Manifold Reader account AND request Project Creator permissions by Thursday, 2/2 if you would like to follow along and create a Manifold project during our session on Friday, 2/3. Getting signed up for a Manifold Reader account and becoming a Project Creator is an easy two-step process, see steps and screenshot below for details.

1. Sign up for a Manifold Reader account on the CUNY Manifold Homepage by clicking on the “Sign Up” link - you can use any email address to create your account.
2. Once you have created your Reader account, you need to request Project Creator permissions by clicking on the “Project Creator Request” link, also on the CUNY Manifold Homepage, and completing the short form - for project description just note that you are in the Rebus cohort or if you have a project in mind, feel free to add it here.
