@june23-cohort it was so great to catch up with you all today and see the updates on your projects! Everyone in our cohort now has at least a basic OER resource, and some of you are ready to collaborate with reviewers. For our next group session on Wednesday, April 10 at 1:00 p.m. EST, we will meet together as a group. Please plan to share your resource with the group so that we can all see the amazing progress you have made.
Our topic for our April session will be marketing for book release. We will work on a basic press release for your resource and also discuss other marketing channels such as listservs and conference proposals. Jill mentioned that M.O.S.T. will be looking for lightning talks in May, and this might be an excellent opportunity to share your resource.
OpenEd24 just released their call for proposals as well. If you don’t want to submit a presentation proposal, at least consider attending either virtually or in person this year. The conference is in Rhode Island and online. The proposal deadline is Monday, April 15.
