Research Methods in Psychology (4th edition)

Good morning!

We are delighted to announce the publication of the fourth edition of Research Methods in Psychology, a comprehensive open textbook for Research Methods classes. The fourth edition was updated and revised collaboratively by Rajiv S. Jhangiani (Kwantlen Polytechnic University), Carrie Cuttler (Washington State University), & Dana C. Leighton (Texas A&M University-Texarkana), each of whom co-authored previous editions of the textbook. The fourth edition also incorporates feedback from several peer reviewers coordinated by the Rebus Community. The textbook is accompanied with instructor resources, including lecture slides, a student lab guide, and exam questions, produced by faculty at Kennesaw State University, Georgia Southwestern State University, Columbia College, and the University of British Columbia-Okanagan.

The new edition builds on three prior editions and is the result of a year-long peer review and revision process.

Each of us co-authored previous editions of this textbook. This edition updates or revises nearly every chapter, and now includes a comprehensive Glossary and Reference section.

The textbook is supplemented by instructor resources , including lecture slides , a student lab guide , and exam questions , produced and contributed by faculty at Kennesaw State University, Georgia Southwestern State University, Columbia College, and the University of British Columbia-Okanagan. We welcome additional contributions and can make your material available to the community.
