Chapter 1: Pressbooks: Intermediate Algebra by Lyn Marrerkeck
Graphing Linear Inequalities in Two Variables (used this section for 3.2

https://pressbooks.bccampus.ca/algebraintermediate/chapter/solve-a-formula-for-a-specific-variable-2/

Here is the link to the Intermediate Algebra textbook in case we need it in the future.

Chapter 4

4.1: 6.1 from Lippman Business Precalculus - coded equations and formulas in LaTex. Imported images wrote learning objectives

Our 3.2 came from the Intermediate Algebra link that @ashley.segalla posted above.

Specifically, it’s from Part III : Graphs and Functions, section 26: Graphing Linear Inequalities in Two Variables. I took out the readiness Quiz in the beginning of the section. I also took out the examples where they asked to write the inequality shown by the shaded region of the graph with the given boundary line.

4.2: 6.2 from Lippman Business Precalculus - coded equations and formulas in LaTex, changed “Important Topics of this Section” to objectives and edited as needed

Chapter 1: from Intermediate Algebra textbook. took end problems out, coded in LaTex, changed formatting of exercises to include soltutions

Chapter 2: from Lippman’s Business Precalculus - coded equations in LaTex, wrote objectives, included solutions with exercises

Chapter 5 comes from

Section 5.1
-coded sets in LaTex
-removed content (photo at the beginning, People in Mathematics, Video, and Who Knew?)
-edited formatting of examples and exercises

Chapter 6
-coded formulas and equations with LaTex
-changed formatting of exercises and examples

6.3
-above changes, plus removed paragraph about birthday simulator because the link was broken

Chapter 6 came from Business Precalculus by D. Lippman, chapter 8.

Chapter 7 on Logic comes from OpenStax

7.1 and 7.2:
-coded formulas with LaTex
-changed formatting of exercises and examples
-changed “checkpoints” to “Notes”
-removed extra “FYI” information

7.3:
-coding and formatting
-changed (c) in example 1 and exercise 1 to make it about Louisiana

7.4:
-same edits as above

These sections have video links in them. After I finish importing Chapter 8 I was going to go back and see if i can embed the videos instead of having links.

Chapter 8 comes from 8.1 Gathering and Organizing Data - Contemporary Mathematics | OpenStax

8.1 and 8.2:
-coded equations and some tables with LaTex
-changed formatting of exercises and examples
-changed formatting of some tables to make them fit in the exercise/example box
-embedded videos

5.4 and 5.4 from OpenStax Contemporary Mathematics 1.4 and 1.5:
Coded equations and set notation in LaTex.
Changed example numbers, exercise numbers and graphic captions
imported and attributed graphics
Fixed grammatical errors and missing set names.

7.5, 7.6 and 7.7 from OpenStax Contemporary Mathematics 2.5, 2.6, 2.7
Coded equations in LaTex
Changed example and exercise numbers
Encoded and linked vocabulary words
Imported and attributed graphics

8.2
-removed Bar Charts for Labeled Data section
-removed most Google Sheets examples and exercises

8.3 and 8.4
-removed Google Sheets examples and exercises

8.8
-removed Google Sheets
-edited text to include “In this book, we will not compute [latex]r[/latex], but instead will approximate it based on the shape of the scatterplots. In future statistics courses, you may learn how to use technology to compute [latex]r[/latex].”
-adding video for correlation coefficient in desmos

8.5 after exercise 1 comes from 2.3 Measures of the Location of the Data - Statistics | OpenStax
changes:
-edited formulas
-deleted some examples and exercises
-made some examples into exercises
