@may23cohort Hey, folks! Just wrapped our session with Becca. We touched on the copyright status of YouTube videos, potential accessibility obstacles of H5P integration in Pressbooks, non-content related review workflows, and author created image licensing. I’m happy to provide more context if any of that is of interest to you. Thanks!
@may23cohort - we are working on our Author Guide and identified the most pressing to-do as to decide what type of instructional design elements to include in each chapter (e.g., glossary). @rsibrian is going to send us some example textbooks with elements that she likes - but if people have examples of open, especially STEM, textbooks with instructional design elements that they especially like or find effective, would love to hear.
@may23cohort - We’re backing off on some of our ideas for this book to reduce the amount of “project creep” and reduce stress. The main focus right now is to let @boothp continue to create content. We discussed, in our meeting today, where to include “front-facing homework” and better ways to interact with the Rebus Forum.
